Born on the 2nd of July 1953 in Bearstead, Kent and now settled in Exmouth, Devon, England, Miles Baker has spent more than 30 years developing his talent as an Artist. His preferred medium is watercolor and he uses fine tipped fibre pens for his Pointillism.
Completely self-taught, Miles has chosen to specialize in the Circus Clown because of his love of comedy and, purely & simply, no one else paints them! His talent enables him to somehow capture their true pathos perfectly. He has traveled the world participating in numerous trade and public art exhibitions, county shows and art demonstrations displaying his “feel good” fine art.
Having exhibited in the United States & Europe, among his more famous customers is the stage actress Millicent Martin & Ron Moody famous for his role as Fagin in the musical “Oliver”. In the media, he has had countless newspaper and magazine articles, and appeared on BBC Radio Devon and his 'ambition' is to be a guest on Desert Island Discs!
"I always supply prints mounted or un mounted, never framed. That is up to the customer. Framing is a very personal matter".
Signed and numbered prints are $189 printed on Watercolour paper, Sizes A4 = 210mm x 297 mm, or 8" X 12" or 12” X 8”. All sizes are the same.
